This button has two uses:
1. Press to vacuum package and seal your food air-tight
with a single touch. Shuts off auto mat ically.
2. Press to cancel process at any point.

Press to achieve best vacuum for canisters and

N CRUSH FREE INSTANT SEAL BUTTON
This button has three uses:
1. Press to immediately stop the vacuum process and
begin sealing the bag. Use to prevent crushing
delicate items such as bread, cookies and pastries.
2. Press to create a seal when mak ing bags from a
FoodSaver Roll.
®
3. Press to create a seal on Mylar bags (such as a
crisp packet) to keep food sealed air-tight.
How to Make a Bag from a FoodSaver
®
Place Bag on Sealing Strip
1. Pull out enough bag material to hold item to be
vacuum packaged, plus 7.5 cm.
2. Place one end of bag material across Sealing Strip (G)
and close lid. Press lid until latches click.
How to Vacuum Package with FoodSaver
Place Loaded Bag on Sealing Strip
1. Place item(s) in bag, allowing at least 7.5 cm of space
between bag contents and top of bag.
2. Open appliance lid and place open end of bag down
into Vacuum Channel (E).
3. Close lid.
4. To begin vacuum process, press down firmly on lid with
both hands until latches click.
5. Press Vacuum & Seal Button (K).

Press Lid and Push Seal Button
3. Press Seal Button. When the seal indicator light (L)
turns off, open lid and remove bag.
Now you are ready to vacuum package with your new bag
(see below).

Press Lid and Push Button
6. When motor and Indicator Lights (I) turn off, open lid
and remove bag. Refrigerate or freeze if needed. (See
FoodSaver Reference Guide for food safety tips.)

Note: Let appliance cool down for 20 seconds after each
use.
