G-ST 500+
1 SIM Card Slot
If the 3G/4G module is installed internally (MezIO, see page 25), this slot has no function. To
access 3G/4G mobile networks, the SIM card must be inserted in this 3G/4G module (please
see page 25). The SIM socket is a push-push type. The push-push mechanism means the SIM
card is push-to-install and push-to-retrieve. Please note that the SIM card must be inserted up-
side down (gold fingers facing upward).
2 Ignition Control Switch
The ignition power control switch features multiple modes for
pre and post ignition settings.
Please refer to the section Ignition Power Control for details.
The ignition power control switch on G-ST 500+/4R can be lo-
cated on the rear panel. Please use a flathead screwdriver to
adjust the position of the ignition power control switch.
The ignition switch on G-ST 500+/4M is covered by M12
connector‟s face plate. Use a Philips screw driver to remove
the four screws (location shown in red), gently pull off the face
plate to expose the ignition switch.
3 CAN Bus Connector
CAN bus is a robust industrial bus with a pair of differential signals
and is commonly used in various industrial and in-vehicles applica-
tions. The system is equipped with a CAN bus DB9 port that is
