professional immediately.
Caution: Be aware that common household or bath products may cause
or contribute to skin irritation, e.g., soaps, deodorants, perfumes,
abrasive cleaners, aerosol- or alcohol sprays.
Caution: If device use results in excessive perspiration such that stability
or suspension are compromised, it is recommended to remove the
device and dry off both the device and the residual limb.

SUPPLEMENTARY DEVICES
The following accessories can be used in conjunction with Össur cushion
and locking liners.
Refer to Össur catalog for more information, e.g., sizing.
Iceross
Distal Cup
®
The device is a prosthetic interface intended to be used as part of a
system that replaces a missing lower limb.
The device provides further cushioning for distally conical limbs with
poor soft tissue coverage. It conforms to the residual limb and can
therefore be used as a filling element to ensure full contact between the
silicone liner and the residual limb.
To correctly fit the device:
1. Measure the circumference of the residual limb 4 cm above the distal
end (Fig. 1).
2. Choose a device one or two sizes smaller than the measurement.
3. Roll the device directly over the limb.
4. When using a liner in combination with a Distal Cup, the liner
measurement should be made with the Distal Cup in place (i.e., over
the Distal Cup).
5. Choose the correct liner size based on the measurement obtained
with the Distal Cup in place.
Note: For daily care, refer to Cleaning and Care instructions.
Iceross
