- Move the end of the automatic measuring arm in line with the plane selected for the
application of the inner weight. In ALU1P (fig.16), the reference of the weight mid-point
is the centre of the disc (fig.15a). In ALU2P you must refer to the rim edge, because the
inner weight is of the spring type (fig.17).
- Keep the arm in position. After two seconds the machine emits an acoustic confirmation
signal to indicate that the distance and diameter values have been acquired.

Pay maximum attention when the end of the arm is being placed in an area of the
rim free of discontinuity, so that the weight can be applied in that position.

Automatically the machine will set up in the ALUP balancing programmes (FSP pro-
