BLEED CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER, SLAVE
CYLINDER AND HYDRAULIC LINES
NOTE: Before bleeding, make sure that the master cylinder is filled with the new fluid
recommended by the manufacturer. An automatic refill kit is supplied with the unit to maintain
the level of the new fluid in the master cylinder during the hydraulic bleeding process. Follow
the instructions enclosed with the kit to prevent air from entering the master cylinder pistons,
slave clyinder, and fluid lines while bleeding the hydraulic clutch system.
1.
Park the vehicle properly on a flat surface and
switch off the engine to be able to reach the bleed
screw on the slave cylinder comfortably and safely.
2.
Make sure that the bleed screw of the slave cylinder
is clean.
3.
Connect compressed air from 4.8 bar to 11.6 bar
via the nipple on the air valve (I) located at one end
of the housing (A).
4.
Connect the end of the corresponding brake hose
adapter (F) with the connection (G) located on the
top of the air vent.
NOTE: Follow the vehicle manufacturer's guidelines for the correct procedure for bleeding the
clutch.
5.
Slide the rubber piece (J) located at the other end
of the (F), over the nipple of the bleed screw.
