Change drive belt position

Adjust the appropriate drive belt position as described below.

Risk of injury due to unintentional switching on the machine!

 Always disconnect the machine from the power supply before carrying out

setting, maintenance or servicing work and secure it against unintentional

connection.

Spindle speed range

A: 650–1450 rpm

B: 1250–2800 rpm

C: 1600–3800 rpm

• Set the spindle speed, depending on the drive belt

position, with the rotary regulator of the switch unit (1).

• Digital display for reading the respective spindle speed (2).

WAR N I N G

• Open the bracket of the switch unit (1).

• Remove the pin from the hinge (2) and place the switch

unit next to it.

• Release the locking lever of the motor plate (3).

• Lift the motor by the belt tensioning handle (3a).

• Loosen the screw of the cover on the back of the headstock

(4) and remove it.

• Position the drive belt on the desired spindle pulley (5).
