Switch the machine on and off
Risk of injury from parts flying off!
Before switching on the machine, check, whether
the face plate and/or the spur center, the tailstock,
the centre punch tip and
the tool rest are fixed.
Make sure that the workpiece is firmly clamped!
Do not machine the workpiece with the tool until the machine has reached the
set spindle speed.
Do not increase the spindle speed until the workpiece has reached a regular
runout in its basic shape.
