11. ADVICE FOR USE
• The instructions in the operating instructions for the appliance must be observed for
installation, handling, maintenance and disposal.

• The operating instructions should be followed to ensure safe preservation of foodstuffs.

First use
• Before using the appliance for the first time, it is advisable to clean it.
• Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and the internal accessories
with warm water and neutral soap to eliminate the typical smell of a brand new product, then
dry it completely.
Starting up and regulating the temperature
• Insert the plug of the connecting cable into the socket equipped with a protective earth
contact. When the refrigerator compartment door is opened, the internal light comes on.
Use the temperature selection button.
• Setting the button to "0" is equivalent to turning the device off.
Turning this knob clockwise activates the refrigeration unit, which then works automatically.
The "6" setting corresponds to the highest temperature, the coldest setting possible
The "1" setting corresponds to the lowest temperature, the warmest setting possible.
CAUTION: Generally, we recommend that you select a setting of 3 ; if you wish to have a higher
or lower temperature, please set the knob to a less or colder setting accordingly.
CAUTION: High ambient temperatures (e.g. on hot summer days) and a cold setting (position 6)
can cause the compressor to run continuously or without interruption!
• When the ambient temperature is high, the compressor must run continuously to keep the
temperature low in the unit.
