• If the diagram shows the correct combination of drawers, crisper and shelves, do not adjust
the combination, as this will affect energy consumption.
Tips on refrigeration
• Do not store hot food or liquids that evaporate in the appliance.
• Cover or wrap food, especially if it has strong aromas or odours - Place food so that air can
circulate freely around it.
• Meat (all types): Wrap in polythene (plastic) bags and place on the glass shelf above for no
more than one or two days.
• Cooked food, cold dishes, etc. These should be covered and can be placed on any shelf.
• Fruit and vegetables: these must be properly cleaned and placed in the special drawer
provided.
• Butter and cheese: these should be placed in aluminium foil or polythene (plastic) bags,
ensuring that as much air as possible is removed.
• Milk bottles: these should be capped and stored in the bottle rack on the door.
Operation of the lighting
• This product contains a light source of energy efficiency class X.
• The light source of this product may only be replaced by qualified professionals.
• Please contact the customer service department if the light source fails.
• The light source should be removed at the end of the product's useful life and sorted and
recycled separately.
13. WINTERING
Storage
• Switch off the appliance.
• Empty the appliance completely.
• Clean the unit thoroughly and wait until it is completely dry before storing.
• In case of prolonged non-use or bad weather, it is recommended to store your product in a dry
place or to use a suitable cover to protect your product.
In order to prolong the life cycle and maintain the condition of your appliance, we strongly
recommend that it is covered if left outdoors for extended periods of time, particularly during
the winter months. Heavy duty covers and other refrigerator accessories are available from
your local dealer.
Even if your appliance is covered for protection, it should be inspected regularly as moisture or
condensation may form, which could damage it. It may be necessary to dry the appliance and
the inside of the protective cover. It is possible that grease residues may be mouldy on parts of
the refrigerator. This should be cleaned with very hot soapy water.
