CONNECTING ANTENNA-VCR-TV
FOR A TV WITHOUT AUDIOAIIDEO

Remove the TVantenna
coaxial cable from the TV receiver
and connect it to the AERIAL connector.
If you have an antenna cable
as illustrated and cannot connect it
to the AERIAL connector of this unit, consult your AIWA dealer.
Connect
this
unit to the TV.
Connect the RF OUT connector of this unit to the antenna connector
of the TV (ANTENNA IN) using the supplied 75-ohm antenna cable o.
If the TV has a 300-ohm connector, pull out the ends for the 300-ohm
connector from the rear of the plug.
Connect
the supplied
power cord O to the AC inlet of this
unit and to a wall outlet.
Set the video channel.
See "SETTING THE VIDEO CHANNEL"
on page 22.
FOR A TV WITH AUDIO/VIDEO
INPUT
JACKS E

Make the same connections as described above for "FOR
A TV WITHOUT AUDIO/VIDEO
INPUT JACKS".
After step 2, connect this unit to the TV with a supplied
audio/video
connecting
cable with phono plugs o.
Connect to the AUDIO OUTPUT jack on this unit and to the AUDIO IN
jack on the TV. Connect to the VIDEO OUTPUT jack on this unit and
to the VIDEO IN jack on the TV.
Your TV may also have AUDIO/VIDEO
OUT jacks. However, do not
make further connections with these jacks and the AUDIOiVIDEO
INPUT
jacks on this unit. When both sets of AUDIOiVIDEO
jacks on this unit are
connected to the TV, the audio/video
signal is distorted.
When using in the AC 220 – 240 V area, be sure to attach a suitable
adaptor plug to the plug end of the AC cord.
Adaptor plugs may be obtained at nominal cost from an authorized
AIWA dealer.
