APPLIANCE DAMAGE!
Never pour detergent into the salt container. Damage to the water softening
•
system.
Take care never to put the wrong powder in the salt container. A defect of the
•
water softening system is likely.
Tighten the salt container lid properly. If dish detergent penetrates the salt
•
container, the water softening system will be damaged.
Do not leave spilled regenerating salt in the appliance. This will damage the
•
appliance and the stainless steel tray.
17.3 Rinsing agent
The rinsing agent prevents water droplets from forming on the dishes, which can leave
stains and streaks. The rinsing agent accelerates the drying process.
17.4 Filling/topping up rinsing agent
Fill/top up rinsing agent when the low-rinsing agent indicator
lights up.
Ignore the indicator when using multitabs that already contain rinsing agent.
Immediately wipe up spilled rinsing agent with an absorbent cloth.
Never pour in other substances (e.g. dishwasher detergent,
dishwashing liquid) together with the rinsing agent.
17.5 Setting the rinsing agent consumption
The rinsing agent container has six or four settings. Factory
setting "4". Should spots form or the dishes do not dry correctly,
increase the rinsing agent dispensing rate:
1. Remove the cover of the container.
2. Set the wheel one level higher.
We recommend the factory setting "4".
