•
Mount the bar with the new chain, mount the front casing (2) and partially tighten nuts (14) and (25).
•
Tension the chain by turning the adjustment screw (17) clockwise.

When the correct tension has been reached, refit the front casing (2) and tighten nuts (14) and (25).
6.1.4.
Lubrication of the cutting bar
The oil flow on the chain (16) has been pre-set by the manufacturer. Operation is automatic and does not need
any adjustments. Always check the oil level in the tank (20). The lubrication is carried out automatically. Oil is
topped up by unscrewing the cap (11) on the tank (20).
Periodically clean the oil inlet hole, the oil outlet channel and the chain bar groove.
CAUTION!
Do not use salvaged oil. It could damage the lubrication pump.
CAUTION!
Before any oil supply, clean the area around the cap, so that no impurities may enter the tank.
CAUTION!
Lack of lubrication may cause seizing of the chain (16) on the support bar (15).
6.1.5.
