Choosing and Installing the Grinding Wheel
WARNING
– Do not force the grinding wheel (K) on the hub (2) and do not alter the center hole diameter
Do not use grinding wheels that do not fit perfectly in place
– Ensure hub (2) and flange (4) are clean and intact
Choose the Grinding Wheel
Choose the correct size grinding wheel based on the
type of chain to be sharpened (see the chain chart
on page 12)
Testing the Grinding Wheel
Hold the grinding wheel (K) up by its center hole
Knock the edge of the grinding wheel gently with a
non-metallic object If it makes a dull, non-metallic
noise it means that the wheel could be damaged:
DO NOT USE IT!
Remove Wheel Guard
Remove wheel guard (G) by removing the guard
securing screw (F) from holes (6) using screwdriver
(not included)
Remove Flange
Using the 5 mm Allen wrench (N), remove the
grinding wheel flange screw (3) and the grinding
wheel flange (4) from the hub
Install Grinding Wheel
Insert and perfectly center the grinding wheel (K)
in the dedicated seat on the hub (2)
