OPERATION
STARTING, STOPPING, AND INTERRUPTING
COMBINATION THERAPY (CONTINUED)
19. Continue with steps 4-23 of the section entitled "Starting
Stopping and Interrupting Ultrasound Therapy" on pages
31-32.
20. Press the START button.
The unit will beep 5 times, you are returned to the
Home screen, and the ultrasound and electrotherapy is
distributed.
21. If you want to use Channel 2 for additional electrotherapy,
continue with step 22. If you do not want to use additional
electrotherapy, skip to step 25.
22. Press the Up and Down Arrow buttons to highlight Stim
Channel 2.
23. Press the Enter button.
The Select Waveform screen displays.
24. Follow steps 8-12 of the section entitled "Starting,
Stopping, and Interrupting Electrotherapy" on pages
29-30.
25. You may make parameter changes and stop or pause
therapy on Channel 1, Channel 2, or Ultrasound by
highlighting the appropriate form of therapy, and making
the necessary changes.
26. When you have completed treatment, remove all
electrodes from the patient.
27. Turn system power "OFF" by pressing the Power On/
Off button. The unit beeps once and the blue light on the
Power On/Off button flashes intermittently.

USING CLINICAL INDICATIONS
The indications contained in this section are to be used only
as guidelines. Each patient should be individually assessed to
determine the appropriateness of the parameter setting prior
to use.
To select an indication for a patient, do the following:
1.
On the home screen, press the Clinical Resources button.
The Clinical Library window displays.
2.
Using the Up and Down Arrow buttons, highlight Clinical
Benefits and press the Enter button.
3.
Using the Up and Down Arrow buttons, highlight the
appropriate indication and press Enter. If a submenu
displays, highlight the appropriate selection and press
Enter.
4.
Review the final parameters for the selected treatment.
Make any necessary adjustments.
5.
To begin therapy, prepare your patient according to the
instructions outlined in the section entitled "Electrotherapy
Patient Preparation" on Page 22 and Press Start.
