4.3 External cellular antenna requirements
The combined gain of the cable and
antenna solution used for this product
must not exceed 2.0 dBi.
The installation room must have stable
network coverage.
The external antenna must be installed
outside the control cabinet.
The external antenna must have an SMA
connector.
An external antenna must always be
connected to the CIM module.
4.3.1 Technical requirements (for US only)
Grundfos does not supply an external antenna with
the product. The antenna must meet applicable RF
regulations. Make sure you choose the antenna
based on the following specifications:

nameplate on the product in which the CIM module is
installed. The label must be visible and easily
accessible. Remember to write the host marketing
name (HMN) on the label according to the Installation
and operating instructions of the host product.
Check the manual of the host pump and make sure
that CIM 290 is supported.
