2. Measure the free travel of the throttle control grip
at its flange. The standard free travel should be 10°
to 15°.
The motorcycle is equipped with the throttle cable of
double-wire structure, the throttle cable

return line. Please follow the steps below to adjust
the free travel of the throttle grip:
(1) Remove the throttle cable dust boot
(2) Loosen the lock nut ③
(3) Fully screw in the adjusting
nut ④
(4) Loosen locknut ①
(5) Turn the adjusting nut ② so
that the free stroke of the throttle control handle is
10° ~ 15°.
(6) Tighten locknut ①
(7) Adjust the nut ④ to make the throttle handle
rotate flexibly.
(8) Tighten the lock nut ③
