Catalytic converter
In order to meet the requirements for environmental
emissions, the muffler of this model is equipped with
a catalytic converter.
The catalytic converter contains precious metals as
catalysts, which can purify harmful substances in
motorcycle exhaust, including carbon monoxide,
hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides, and convert
them into harmless carbon dioxide, water and nitro-
gen through chemical reactions.
Because of the importance of catalytic converter,
the faulty catalytic converter can pollute the air and
damage your engine performance. If you need to
replace it, please remember to use genuine parts or
have them replaced by the QJMOTOR dealership.
Notice
The catalytic converter is a high temperature area.
Do not touch it.
Carbon canister
This motorcycle model is equipped with fuel evapo-
ration control device: carbon canister.
The carbon canister is located above the crankcase
of the engine, and the carbon canister is filled with
activated carbon particles that can absorb vapor,
which can effectively inhibit the volatilization of
excess fuel vapor into the atmosphere, so as to
achieve the purpose of saving fuel and protecting
the environment.
Assembly and disassembly of radiator water
pipe clamp
After the radiator clamp is removed, special clamp
pliers ① are required to reinstall the clamp ②.
Otherwise, the clamp will not be assembled in place,
which will cause coolant overflow and cause motor-
cycle failure or personal injury.
When the clamp is removed, the old disposable
clamp can not be reused, and the plate clamp can
be reused.
