STATIC DIAGNOSIS

STATIC DIAGNOSIS is a function that permits automatic diagnosis of the causes of malfunction

of vehicle A/C systems through analysis of the behavior of system pressures.

A/C SYSTEM TYPE IDENTIFICATION

Prior to start the diagnosis is necessary to identify the type of A/C system we are working on

expansion valve or orifice tube systems.

• Expansion valve system: a system making use of a thermostatic valve including a block

valve, usually this block valve is partially visible and, is located in the rear part of the

engine compartment (near the passenger compartment) and it is connected with two

hoses (one bigger than the other)
