13-MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
- Cut the worn belt.
- Position the new belt.
- Insert between the lace a nylon hinge.
- Adjust the belt tension.
WARNING!
Before setting the new belt, check the wear of the orange plastic rings on
the drive pulleys: replace them if they are worn out.
13.12 ADJUSTMENT OF THE BELTS TENSION
Check the tension of the belt by pulling it outwards in the middle.
A force of 3,5 kg should produce a gap of 25 mm (1 inch) betwen the
belt and the frame
