o Smocking
With the stitch
length
at "'4'"
, sew
straight stitching lines 3/8" apart across
the area to be smocked.
Knot the threads along one edge. Pull
the bobbin threads
and distribute
the
gathers evenly.
Secure the threads at
the other end. Sew the decorative stitch
between the gathering stitches.
Putl out the gathering stitches.
NOTE:
Loosen the top thread tension
to make gathering easier.

Con et largo de la puntada eta "4", cosa
lineas de puntadas rectas, separadas unas
de otras por un ! cm, en toda el firea que
vaa trabajarse. Anude los hi!os en uno de
los bordes. Tire los lfilos de ta bobina y
distribuya el recogido en forma pareja.
Asegure los hilos en la otra or'ilia. Cosa
puntadas decoranvas sobre el recogido.
Quite [as puntadas de recogido.
NOTA:
Afloje
la tensi6n
del hilo
superior para que el recogido
se haga mas fficil.
