7.3.3 Contact input
In the "System choice" menu, switch to the "Contact input" menu
using the [F3] key.
Contact input
Max. flow of H
0000.0 m³/h
The max. flow in the main water line are entered in this menu.
•
Use the [F1] key to switch to the variable field "0000.0 m³/h",
and enter the max. flow rate. Enter using the [UP], [DOWN],
[LEFT], [RIGHT] arrow keys analogous to the "Current input"
entry.
•
Confirm using [Enter] key.
•
Use the [Enter] or [RIGHT] arrow key to switch to the menu:
Contact input
added
Water meter
00.000
pulses/litre
The quantity (ppm) of ClO
added and the pulses/litre of the
2
contact water meter are entered in this menu.
•
Switch to the variable field "0.00" using the [F1] key.
•
Use the [UP] and [DOWN] keys to change the numerical
value, and the arrow [LEFT] and [RIGHT] keys to change the
input field.
•
Enter the value to be added.
•
Use the [F1] key to switch to the variable field "water meter
00.000", and enter the contacts of the existing contact water
meter.
•
Confirm using [Enter] key.
The control for the system can process a max. rate of
Note
50 pulses/sec. If a value greater than 50 pulses/sec.
is calculated, use a different contact water meter.
•
Use the [Enter] or [RIGHT] arrow key to switch to the menu:
Contact input
0 g/h = 0.00 pulses/sec.
9 g/h = 8.33 pulses/sec.
The requisite system capacity, as well as the pulses output by the
water meter are now calculated in this menu.
Example:
Default quantity of ClO
:
0.3 ppm
2
Main water quantity:
30 m³/h
Contact water meter:
1 pulse/litre
Max. system capacity:
0.3 ppm x 30 m³/h = 9 g/h
1 pulse/litre x 30 m³/h x
Water meter:
1000/3600 = 8.33 pulses/sec.
Select or set the contact water meter in such a way
Note
that, at max. system capacity, at least 5 pulses/sec.
are transmitted to the controller.
•
Use the [Enter] key to switch to the menu:

Max.
xxx.x m³/h
Min.
xxx.x m³/h
The max. and min. volume of water, which can be supplied with
ClO
through the set quantity to be added (ppm), and the system

size, are specified in this menu. The system switches off below
the min. water quantity (system capacity < 2.5 %).

2. Use the [Enter] key to return to the "Operation mode" menu.
3. Press the [Escape] key twice to return to the main menu.
The preset water flow rate in the "contact or current
input" mode is [m³/h].
Note
Use the [F1] key to select other displayed units: [l/s]
and [%].
Basic load setting
Contact input
0 g/h = 0.00 pulses/sec.
9 g/h = 8.33 pulses/sec.
Use the [F1] key to switch to the variable field 0 g/h, and set a
basic load.
The basic load depends on the system type. It is
bigger than 2.5 % of the system capacity.
Note
For example, for the system type OCD-164-1000 the
basic load is bigger than 0.25 g/h.
