Transport and installation

3.1

Transport

The cold-meat slicing machines weigh depending on type (see table chapter 2.0) approx. 26-42 kg and
should be carried by 2 persons. Use a suitable transport unit for longer transport distances. Prior to trans-
port set the cutting thickness to below -0 - by turning the adjusting knob to the stop. Push the table right
to the front and use sticky tape to immovable.
3.2

Requirements on place of installation

The machine is intended for setting up in sales counters.
– Ambient temperature for operation and storage: -10 to +40°C (+14 to +104 degF)
– Humidity Protection class IP 33. High humidity or condensation formation can result in damage to the machine.
– Relative humidity for operation and storage: 90% (condensation on the device is prohibited)

– Stipulated lighting: 500 lux
The support has to meet the following requirements:

• locate the machine in an area with little in-company movement
• do not place the machine in the vicinity of doors; not in the swiveling range of an opening door,
not in access area of a door.
• in case of Nirosta stainless steel tables, Resopal supports or similar materials please ensure,
that there are no fat residues on the surface.
