5.8.i. TOUCH SCREEN calibration
1. Select TOUCH SCREEN CALIBRATION then press
the confirm button
For greater precision, wear gloves when carrying out calibration.
2. Touch the 5 crosses displayed on the touch screen in sequence with your finger (Fig.
41a). Do not use a pointed object such as a pencil to
touch the screen, as this may cause miscalibration.
3. After calibrating, touch the display with your
finger (Fig.41b) and check that the pointer follows
the movements of your finger. Otherwise, repeat
the procedure.
4. Select one of the following:
- SAVE to save calibration
- CANCEL to exit calibration without saving
- RESTART CALIBRATION to repeat the procedure.
5.8.l. X AXIS calibration
This operation must ONLY be performed by author-
ised personnel in the following cases:
1. Replacing the x-axis potentiometer
2. Increase or decrease the rim-demounting tool
distance set during previous calibration
PROCEDURE:
1. Mount the calibration template on the wheel
support plate and lock it in place with the cone
without a plastic guard. Position it as shown in
Fig. 42
2. Access the SERVICE menu and select X AXIS
CALIBRATION X (Fig. 42a). The calibration
window opens (Fig. 42b).
3. Press RESET to cancel the previous calibration
data.
