Arc correction.
Sets higher speed/current arc length.
Caution: when properly adjusted, the arc length is the
same for both currents.
Turn knob I to select the parameter and confirm the se-
lection by pressing the knob.
Adjust the value by turning the knob I.
To confirm the selection press knob I or the key.
Press key DEF to reset the manufacturer's settings.
SECTOR DG. INDUCTANCE
The adjustment can vary from -9.9 to +9.9. Zero is the
manufacturer's setting. If the number is negative,
impedance decreases and the arc becomes harder; if in-
creased, it becomes softer.
Touch to select the function. To adjust the value, turn
knob I.
SECTOR DH. ARC LENGTH
The adjustment can vary from -9.9 to +9.9. Touch to se-
lect the function.
To adjust the value, turn knob I.
SECTOR DI. SUBMENU
Touch to select the sector, see fig. 32.
MATERIAL
Press this key to select wire type, diameter
and gas type best suited to the material to
be welded, see fig. 33 – 34 and 35. To select, adjust and
confirm selection always use knob I.
PROCESS
Touch to select the sector, see fig. 36 - 37
and 38.
See section on "CHOOSING THE WELDING PRO-
CESS".
ACCESSORIES
Touch to select the sector, see fig. 39.
Activating and using accessories.
• Cooling unit.
This function is used to set cooling unit start-up.
Selections are OFF – ON – AUTO. If "AUTO" is selected,
when the machine is switched on, the cooling unit starts;
if the torch trigger is not pressed after 30 seconds, it
shuts off.
Pressing the torch trigger starts the unit again and it
shuts off 3 minutes after releasing the trigger
Turn knob I to select the parameter and confirm the se-
lection by pressing the knob.
• T-Link welding mask (optional).
To use the mask (after installing the kit in the generator)
turn on the welding mask, activate the function on the ge-
nerator display by turning ON and pair the welding mask
to the power source by selecting "PAIR". To check the
function, press the "DARKEN" key on the display and
ensure the mask glass goes dark.
• Rules for using the push-pull torch. See Fig. 40 - 41
- 42.
• Adjusting the push-pull force (ranging from -99 to
+99).
This function adjusts the drive torque of the push-pull
motor in order to make the push-pull wire feed linear.
Turn knob I to select the parameter and confirm the se-
lection by pressing the knob.
Adjust the value by turning the knob and confirm by pres-
sing.
• TORCH CALIBRATION
This activates only when item number 443 KIT SRS –
SPATTER REDUCTION SYSTEM is installed.
MAXIMUM FEED, see fig. 43 – 44.
The purpose is to stop the welding machine if the wire
emerges for the preset length in cm after starting with no
passage of current. Adjustment OFF - 10 cm.
Adjust the value by turning the knob Iand confirm by
pressing.
