TRIBORD guarantees the proper functioning of this equipment as described in this document.
This guarantee is only applicable under the conditions and within the parameters indicated below:
Article 1 : The warranty has a duration of two (2) years (according to the legal terms as applicable
in each country) starting from the date of purchase at an authorised retailer of TRIBORD
products.
Article 2 : Article 2: The legal guarantee of conformity covers the lack of conformity of the
consumer goods, packaging and instructions. The guarantee covers all compliance
failures, namely:
• item unfit for the normal usage expected of such a product,
• item which does not correspond to the description given by the seller,
• item which does not have the attributes claimed by the seller.
The guarantee of legal warranty covers hidden defects, present from the date of
purchase, which render the item unfit for its designated usage.
Article 3 : The legal guarantee expires automatically, and with immediate effect, following the
occurrence of repairs, modifications, alterations, adaptations or general tampering
performed on the product, or on part of the product, and which was not pre-authorized
by TRIBORD or undertaken by unauthorised persons, or if the customer dives with a
NITROX mixture.
Article 4 : The warranty entitles you to intervention and repair free of charge, as soon as possible,
or replacement of the product (at the absolute discretion of TRIBORD) or parts thereof,
free of charge, whenever the specific malfunctions mentioned in Article 3 (as seen
above) are acknowledged by TRIBORD.
Article 5 : The warranty can be applied by the shipment of the product judged to be defective
to TRIBORD by the TRIBORD retailer where the product was purchased. If this is
impossible, any other TRIBORD retailer can be authorised to send back the defective
product after prior approval. A required condition for the exercise of the warranty is
that the product must be accompanied by a copy of the receipt or the original receipt
(or any other proof of receipt specifying the name of the authorised TRIBORD retailer
where the product was purchased as well as the date of purchase), thereby acting as
a proof of purchase.
Each time that TRIBORD receives a product that:
• is not accompanied by a proof of purchase with the characteristics mentioned above,
• does not respect the conditions of Article 3 as outlined above,
• has defects due to external or supplementary factors that are not attributable to those specifically
outlined in Article 2 as seen above,
• was improperly used, and / or was used in a manner different from that for which the product
was designed.
TRIBORD will not appraise the product, and will notify the authorised retailer / sender. If, despite
the outlined conditions, the sender still demands an appraisal, he must send a request to TRIBORD
within the following 15 business days. In this request, the sender must expressly undertake to bear
all costs relating to this appraisal (labour, parts, and shipping costs, if applicable). Failing this,
TRIBORD will return the product at the expense of the sender.
