1.8 Transport & delivery
Upon receiving the delivery, immediately check it for any transport damage. Immediately notify the
transport company of any damage. Damage may rule out the commissioning of the Position Super-
visor Unit. If you do not immediately install the Position Supervisor Unit, store the device at a dry
location free of dust - ideally in the transport packaging.

1.9 Storage

The device must be stored according to the following conditions:
• Dry and dust-free
• Avoid mechanical vibrations
• Do not store outdoors
• Do not exceed the temperature and humidity limits (see technical specifications)

1.10 Other applicable documents

All technical specifications are provided in the corresponding data sheets of the PSU01 as well as
of the Ants LES01. They contain the mechanical and electrical characteristic values of the Position
Supervisor Unit. The separate operating instruction (R60200.0009) of the product must be observed
for commissioning the Ants LES01.
In addition, there are programming instructions that are necessary to parameterise the PSU01. This is
generally only interesting for control manufacturers to ensure that their lift control system is compatible
with the PSU01.These instructions is continuously keep up to date and are also available for download
on our homepage. Each CANopen terminal can be used to parameterise the unit. The necessary EDS
files are always available for download on our homepage.
The PSU01 is used for the safe positioning evaluation for implementing
functions of limit switches, inspection limit switches, time-delayed limit
switches, unintended car movement (UCM) as well as for the safe
bypass of the safety circuit in case of premature door opening/relevel-
ling of elevator systems according to EN81-20. It forms a system unit
together with the Ants LES01 sensor.
Any unintended use can result in hazardous situations.
The PSU Evaluation Unit may only be used in conjunction with the Ants
LES01. All information provided in both operating instructions must be
strictly observed. The operating instructions for the Ants LES01 are
enclosed with this product. They are explicitly referred to here as an
integral part of the product.
