7. During operation
The following chapter describes the different operating modes.
The following overview shows the relay states and the safety circuit status of the respective operating
modes:
Operating mode
1
Teach-in mode (see chapter 4)
2
Normal operation
- Door bypass inactive
- Door bypass active
3
Error mode (locked mode)
7.1 Normal operation
In normal operation, the PSU01 evaluates the positions received and fulfills all safety functions.
7.1.1 Door bypass function
Door bypass is only active (activable) in the „Normal operation" state.
The bypass will only become active for a speed lower than 0.8 m/s and only within the requested stop
(0.3 m/s for car level control).
The following applications are possible with the door bypass of the PSU01, which will be requested by
the control according to the required door bypass application (see parameterizing manual).
7.1.1.1 Door bypass for drive-in for early door opening
The door bypass for drive-in for early door opening can only be activated outside of the requested stop
or still during drive-in.
It has no effect during standstill at the corresponding stop.

If inspection limit switches are active, or if at least the inspection is
wired and the elevator is in inspection mode, bypass is inhibited.
The control must switch the active bypass off if it is not required. If,
after a previous standstill, the elevator leaves the door zone with
bypassed doors, this is detected as a UCM event.
