7.1.1.2 Door bypass for car level control at a stop

The door bypass can only be activated within a zone at a speed lower than 0.3 m/s for elevator car
level control. The speed during car level control bypass is controlled at 0.3 m/s. Exceeding this speed
will be detected by the PSU01 as a UCM event.

7.1.1.3 Door bypass for fast start from a stop

Fast start bypass can only be activated/is only valid in a zone of ± 2 cm with respect to the flush
position of the selected station. It is de-activated automatically when leaving this zone and must not
necessarily be reset.
The control must make sure that the doors safety circuit is closed before leaving the reduced zone;
otherwise the elevator stops (because of the open door contacts safety circuit).

7.1.2 Protection mode (inspection)

The following features apply when an inspection limit switch is actuated.
Speed is limited to 0.6 m/s during inspection. If this speed is exceeded, the PSU01 triggers the „over-
speed" function. This leads to the opening of the safety circuit until the standstill of the elevator.
If an elevator is in inspection mode and an inspection limit switch plus maximum 10 cm hysteresis is
overrun, the safety circuit opens and the info is sent to the control (see figure).
The control must switch the active bypass off if it is not required. If,
after a previous standstill, the elevator leaves the door zone with
bypassed doors, this is detected as a UCM event.
If both inspection switches are disabled, the input signal is ignored.
Wiring the inspection / protection area is not necessary.
If the inspection is at least wired, the door bypass is inhibited during
inspection and the speed is limited to 0.6 m/s.
The control must represent suitably the state of the inspection limit
switches (actuated/or not).
