ROUBLESHOOTING
Failure searching and problem solving schedule
The following table shows a few possible working failures related to unit & plant system; about error codes or alarm conditions by
remote control panel, read the specific unit control manual.
Founded failure
Fans are not running
Compressor is not running
Air performance decreasing
Heat pump performance decreasing
Defrost cycles too close
or evaporating pressure too low
Condensing pressure too high or over the
limit
Condensate water stays inside the unit

ATERIAL
At the end of the unit's lifetime, its components must be dismantled and disposed of respecting the operational regulations present in
its country of installation.
The materials that the unit is made of are:
-
Precoated sheet metal
-
Zinc-plated sheet metal
-
Aluminum
-
Copper
-
Polyester
-
Polyethylene
-
Mineral wool
-
Stainless steel
-
Plastic.
Probable cause
•
Power supply is switched off
•
No signal from control panel
•
Wrong or loose electrical connections
•
Motor overload protection on
•
The phase connection is not right
•
Motor overload protection on
•
Air filter dirty
•
Air duct blocked
•
Freon filling insufficient
•
Outside air too cold
•
Room air too cold
•
Insufficient return airflow rate
•
Insufficient airflow rate in the air circuit
where condenser is
•
Condenser air inlet temperature too high
•
Freon overfilling
•
Condensate drainage blocked
•
Lacking or not adequate trap

Possible solution
Switch on the power supply
Push the right button on the control
panel
Restore the right connections
Check current
Restore the right phase connection
Check compressor protection current
set
Clean or replace air filter
Check air plant (are dampers open?)
Call HITECSA service
Preheat outside air
Preheat
room before unit
running
Check air filter and return/exhaust air
plant system
Check air filter and air plant system
connected to condenser
Check the real working conditions and
compare them to unit limit
Call HITECSA service
Clean or free the drainage
Install a right trap
