NTRODUCTION
Dear Customer,
air-to-air Variable Air Volume heat recovery units with built-in Variable Refrigerant Flow heat pump system have been
designed and developed for residential and commercial applications and their purpose is to meet both ventilation and fresh
air temperature control (in order to win winter and summer fresh air load), while operating at very high overall efficiency
due to the control flexibility.
Indeed, where room air renewal is required, unit provides to heat transfer between return air and fresh air (and viceversa),
in two sequential steps, the first one being static type (by means of high efficiency crossflow heat recovery) and the second
one dynamic type (by means of refrigerant circuit provided with variable capacity compressor controlled by inverter).
In their basic configuration, they are functionally composed of (see fig. 1-1):
1 – EC motor driven fan (1a supply fan; 1b exhaust fan) with built-in inverter
2 – High efficiency air-to-air crossflow heat recovery
3 – Exhaust air-to-fresh air heat pump system with EC motor driven compressor
4 – Air filter (4a fresh air intake; 4b return air intake)
5 – Electric box with built-in controller
These units may be integrated with traditional heating and cooling systems, but they can operate also autonomously if
equipped with the proper accessories.
This instruction manual supplies the necessary information for the transportation, the installation, operation and
maintenance of the unit, under safety working conditions. It is in addition to other technical documentation such as internal
wiring connection diagram and control manual.
Lack of observation of the details found within this manual, and an inadequate installation of the unit may cause the
withdrawal of the warranty supplied with the equipment.
Furthermore, the Supplier will not respond to any eventual damage, whether direct or indirect, caused by the incorrect
installation, or for damages caused by the installation being effectuated by inexperienced or unauthorised personnel.
Verify, upon acquisition, that the apparatus is complete and supplied as described.
Any eventual disputes must be presented in writing within 8 days from the reception of the goods.
