Unit positioning
In case of ceiling (or false ceiling) installation, unit is already provided with vibration supports.
With referrement to fig. 5-3, here below mounting instructions :
1.
Drill the ceiling for fixing the four M8 threaded rods (1).
2.
Place the unit on the rods by the corner supports already mounted (6).
3.
Insert rubber vibration supports (2), washers (3) and screw nuts (4) and locknuts (5) without tightening.
4.
Get a min 3 mm slope towards the drain trap points in order to make drainage easy.
5.
Tighten nuts and locknuts.
In case of floor installation, between unit lower panels and the floor a min 150 mm gap space is needed (for this purpose,
use option PD2 support kit), so that drain traps can be installed.
Connection to the air ducts
FANS SHALL NOT BE RUNNING WITHOUT CONNECTION TO THE DUCT !
Air ducts shall be sized according to unit air performance in terms of external static pressure and airflow rate
In order to prevent condensation and reduce noise level insulated ducts are strongly recommended.
Between unit and air ducts always interpose vibration joints. Ensure electrical continuity between unit and
(metallic) ducts by a ground cable.
Water connections
These operations shall be carried out by qualified personnel only.
Condensed water discharge connections
The drainage system shall be provided with a drain trap on each condensed water outlet; drain trap is needed to
win the internal underpressure; two drain traps are supplied with the unit and each of them shall be screwed to
the unit drainage point directly before connecting the external drainage system.
Drainage system shall ensure a slope towards the water collection point.
Drainage pipework shall not stress the unit condensed water outlets.
Electrical connections
Before any service switch off main power supply.
All electric lines shall be protected before the unit electric box by the installer.
Electrical connections to the unit electrical box shalI be carried out by qualified personnel only according to the
wiring diagrams supplied with the unit and by opportunely using the glands placed close to the electrical box door
(fig. 5-4); any electrical connection between an external option (not wired by the Supplier) and the unit electrical
box shall be carried out by the installer.
Be sure that power supply type matches the one shown on unit plate.
Make the electrical connection of the basic unit and its possible options by using cables sized
according to the playing power while complying with local regulations.
Use of adapters, multiple electric sockets or extension cords is not allowed to connect the unit and its options.
