ROUBLESHOOTING
Guidelines for troubleshooting
The following table lets the User make a first rough check when one of these possible failures are detected in the plant
system; to check and solve alarm situations shown by the controller on the remote control panel display please consult the
controller manual.
Detected failure
Fans not running
Compressor not running
Insufficient air volume
Insufficient heating/cooling capacity
Too frequent defrost mode
Too high condensing pressure
Condensed water stays inside

What to do
Switch on main power supply/unit
Check fan settings/fan signal
or
Restore the right connections
Check the input current/check fan
settings
Check airflow rates, indoor and
outdoor air conditions, supply air
temperature setpoint and compare
them to unit limits; too low capacity
required
Too much capacity required
Replace filter(s)
Check ductwork (dampers open ?)
Check fan settings
Contact service center
Check the setpoint and the actual
working condition
Preheat fresh air
Wait for the right room temperature
before starting the unit
Check return air filter and return air
circuit pressure drop
Check return air filter and return air
circuit pressure drop
Check the actual working condition
comparing to unit limits
