NSTALLATION AND
Damper SKR
It takes place externally on unit air intakes (main fresh air, return air); adhesive gasket and self-drilling screws are also
supplied together with the damper.
Apply the gasket on the whole damper flange perimeter (on both sides); then, center the damper on the unit intake where
damper shall be placed and fix it by the self-drilling screws.
In case of operation by actuator (option SSE), it shall match the damper shaft and be blocked on it and on damper side
frame by means of the small bracket supplied together with the actuator; finally, make the wiring to the unit electrical box
according to the supplied wiring diagrams.
External by-pass system BPL (with unit configuration M90-E90 only)
Set of components to be mounted on an air duct (fig. 6-1):
a) motorised damper on unit main fresh air intake (see previous mounting instruction)
b) ducted filter section provided with motorised damper on free-cooling fresh air duct
c) connection duct between basic unit and free-cooling air filter section (connection duct by Others)
Remove first the side small panel close to the electrical box door (use an AW20 head tool); to couple by-pass duct flange
to the unit use the unit frame (3 sides available) and the available space before the gland row.
Pay attention that flange dimension on the unit side is generally different from that on the free-cooling air filter section.
Complete the installation by wiring the two damper actuators according to the supplied wiring diagrams.
Water coil section SAF
It is supplied as a kit provided with special brackets and coupling flanges for connection to supply fan panel. Before starting
mounting, be sure that section is connected to supply fan panel so that its drainage point is located in the lower side and
water pipework doesn't interfere with ductwork and the gap spaces needed for scheduled and not scheduled maintenance.
Then make the following sequential operations (fig. 6-2) :
1)
Unscrew the supply fan panel and remove the four screws (use an AW20 head tool)
2)
Align flange (1) to the fan panel and fix both together to the unit re-screwing the four screws previously removed
Fix the "Z-shaped" upper and lower brackets (2) to SAF section by using the screws supplied with the kit
3)
4)
Approach SAF section to the flange (1) so that the side holes on SAF and the lower and upper holes of "Z-shaped"
brackets match those on the flange; once matched, fix everything with the supplied screws
5)
Using the special grooves, hang the section up and fix it with screws and vibration rubbers to the ceiling or onto a
support frame.
To install 3-way valve (supplied with the kit) follow instruction in the small box of fig. 6-2, keeping into account that water
inlet (IN) and water outlet (OUT) coil connection shall match air OFF and air IN side respectively.
Finally, make the wiring of the valve actuator and the two temperature sensors supplied together with the section to the
unit electrical box according to the supplied wiring diagrams.
Water pipework shall be provided with an air vent valve (located in the highest point of the water plant) and a water drain
valve (located in the lowest point of the water plant).
