Fuel oil maintenance
· Check the following if failure occurs:

power supply (power and control),
–
fuel supply (valve pressure and
opening),
–
control components,
–
switch positions on TC control
panel.

If problem persists:
· Check various program symbols
described here below on the control
and safety unit.
Safety components must not be
repaired but replaced by similar items.

Cause
Parasitic flame on thermostatic cut-off.
Faulty air pressure.
Thermal relay cut out.
Faulty contactor.
Faulty wiring between contactor and motor
Faulty motor.
Misadjusted or faulty air pressure switch.
Faulty flame monitoring circuit.
Ignition electrodes short-circuiting.
Damaged ignition cables.
Faulty ignition transformer.
Control and safety unit.
Electrical connections broken
Coil(s) short-circuiting.
Mechanical jamming in valves.
Fuel not getting through.
Air flap too open and/or fuel oil flow too
high.
Misadjusted combustion head.
Faulty servomotor.
Mechanical jamming of air flap.
Faulty mechanical coupling.
Premature flame signal.
Old cell.

Note
After each operation:
· Check combustion and all circuits for
possible leaks.
· Perform safety checks.
· Record results in the relevant
documents.
Corrective action
Check fuel valves for leaks.
Fit a postventilation device.
Replace air pressure switch.
Reset, adjust or change thermal relay.
Change contactor.
Check wiring.
Replace motor.
Adjust or replace air pressure switch
Check pressure pipes.
Check if cell is clean.
Change control and safety unit.
Adjust or replace electrodes.
Replace ignition cables.
Replace ignition transformer
Change control unit.
Check wiring between unit, servomotor and
motor pump.
Change coil(s).
Change valve(s).
Check fuel oil level in tank, control valve and
prefilter opening.
Check piping vacuum, spray pressure and
booster pump.
Clean pump and prefiltering filter.
Replace nozzles, pump, coupling, motor
pump motor and hoses.
Adjust air flap and/or fuel oil flow rate
Adjust combustion head.
Adjust or change servomotor.
Unblock air flap.
Check or change coupling.
Change control and safety unit.
Change cell.
