7.5. Checking and adjusting the throttle cable
a. Remove the air filter cover
b. Check for slack in the throttle cable and the ends of the cable by pulling and releasing the throttle lever a few times.
If the slack is more than 0.5–2.5 mm, loosen the locknut and turn the adjusting nut in or out as needed to obtain the correct gap.
c. Tighten the locknut.
d. Check if the throttle lever is working perfectly.
e. Reinstall the air filter cover.
7.6. Checking the pump oil
To check the pump oil quality and level, follow the steps below:
1. Remove the lumbar cushion
2. Check if the oil level on the oil inspection window. If the oil is low add oil until it is between 50% to 60% of the window height.
In case of doubts please contact your authorized technical assistance.
NOTE: Pump oil may be milky in color due to contamination. Periodically replace the pump oil according to the maintenance table.
NOTE: SAE 10W-30 general use oil is recommended for the pump.
7.7. Checking the nozzle
Check if the spray nozzle is spraying properly . If not, take the nozzle apart and clean it. To clean it, follow the steps below:
