Electric shock hazard!
Contact with live leads or components poses a risk of
serious injury or even death!
Observe the following safety precautions to avoid any electric
shock hazard:
Do not use the appliance, if the mains lead or mains plug are

On no account should the housing of the appliance be opened.

Electric shock hazard if live connections are touched and/or
the electrical and mechanical configuration is changed.
Never immerse the appliance, the carrier or the power plug in

water or other liquids.
Take care when filling the water tank that no water gets inside

the appliance.

Danger of burns

WARNING
Parts of the appliance, in particular the screen carrier and
steam nozzle, become very hot during operation!
Observe the following safety precautions to avoid burning or
scalding yourself and/or others:
Do not touch the metal part of the screen carrier or the steam

nozzle of the appliance during operation. Touch only the plastic
parts of the screen carrier or steam nozzle during use.
Do not direct the steam nozzle towards parts of your body or

towards other persons.
Always allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.

NOTE
Touching the hot plate will not result in burns. Be aware at all

times, however, that the hot plate is hot. A sudden unintentional
contact could result in other injuries.
