5.2.4 Adjusting Basic Video Settings
To adjust Basic Video Settings, press the Camera Head buttons or touch the LCD touch screen:
• The Camera Head buttons are preset to decrease and increase the Brightness Level with a
short button press of the left and right arrow buttons, respectively . To change button presets,
refer to "5 .4 .4, Advanced Settings: Button Settings" .
• LCD Screen . (See "5 .3 Adjusting General Settings" for setting the video settings through the
LCD screen) .
NOTE: When operating the camera with a light source attached to the endoscope, set the
light source to 100% to ensure optimal image quality. If the image is not bright enough, first try
increasing exposure level on the Camera Control System. If that is not sufficient, increase the
brightness level on the Camera Control System until the desired brightness is achieved.
WARNING! Do not look directly into the light source. The intense light may cause eye
injury.
WARNING! Make sure light source is off or in Standby Mode when not in use.
NOTE: The Light Source may only be turned on if a Camera Head is connected.
NOTE: Brightness and Enhance levels are reset each time the device is turned off.
5.2.5 Starting and Stopping Video Capture
To start and stop Video Capture press the Camera Head buttons or touch the LCD touch
screen .
• To start or stop Video Capture with the Camera Buttons, use a long press of the left arrow
button . Buttons are pre-set at the factory . To change button presets, see "5 .4 .4, Advanced
Settings: Button Settings" .
• To start or stop video capture using the LCD screen, press the Video Capture Button on the
Home Screen . When the Camera Control System is recording video a notification appears
on the Display . This notification can be enabled or disabled . To change the Video Capture
settings, see "5 .4 .5, Advanced Settings: Media Settings" .
