5.2.7 Adjusting White Balance
White balance adjusts the camera to current lighting conditions . To adjust White Balance use
the Camera Head buttons or the touch the LCD touch screen .
• To adjust White Balance with the Camera Head buttons, use a long press of the right button .
The Camera Head buttons are preset to White Balance with a long press of the right button . To
change button presets, refer to "5 .4 .4, Advanced Settings: Button Settings"
• To adjust White Balance with the LCD Screen, press the White Balance Button on the LCD
Home Screen . A notification appears in the center of the display to verify that white balance
has occurred .
NOTE: Use the White Balance function only when the camera is pointed at a fully white scene.
Using the White balance function on a scene that is not fully white may cause poor video
output. To correct this, repeat the white balance function using a fully white focus point.
5.2.8 Adjusting Video Timing and Resolution
The Camera Control System is designed to allow selection of the available video timing and
resolution options . DVI video output is available in 1920 x 1080p NTSC 60Hz, and 1920 x1080p
PAL 50Hz . SDI video output is available in 3G-SDI at 1920 x 1080p NTSC 60Hz or 1920 x
1080p PAL 50Hz .
To change the video timing or resolution, refer to "5 .3, Adjusting General Settings" .
NOTE: If 1080p video is selected, the SDI video output will work only with 3G-SDI capable
displays.
5.3
Adjusting General Settings
The General Settings Screen provides controls for basic image adjustment .
To adjust General Settings:
1 . Press the General Settings button .
2 . Touch the slider controls or the +/- buttons to adjust the settings .
