Disinfecting for multiple-patient use
To disinfect the Serter, you will need the following materials: gloves, 6% household bleach (for example,
Clorox Regular-Bleach), and a container.

To disinfect the cleaned Serter:
1. While wearing gloves, prepare a 1:10 bleach solution by using 100 mL of 6% household bleach to
900 mL of room temperature tap water.
2. Submerge the Serter in the bleach solution and soak it for 30 minutes.
3. Rinse the Serter under room temperature tap water for three minutes, ensuring all hard-to-reach
areas are rinsed completely.
4. Shake off any excess water or moisture, and place the Serter upright on a clean, dry, cloth to air-dry.
Follow instructions for use.
