POSSIBLE CAUSE
Low pressure switch intervention due to
stricture or clogging of expansion valve.
Poor load of refrigerant gas.
Thermal switch with contacts locked in
closed position.
System not sufficiently sized in
F
accordance with the load.
Excessive load to cool or insufficient
insulation
Evaporator covered with ice.
Stricture in the system circuit.
Condenser clogged.
G
Incorrect drive condenser.
Start-up relay defective or burnt out
Incorrect relay.
H
Relay assembled in incorrect position.
Incorrect drive condenser.
Thermal switch adjusted too high.
Under-sized expansion valve.
I
Under-sized evaporator.
Insufficient air circulation.
Expansion valve with excessive air
passage or under-sized.
L
Expansion valve locked in opened
position.
Evaporator ventilator does not work.
Gas load to high.
Co2Nnext
Compressor operates uninterruptedly or for long periods
Drive condenser damaged, interrupted, or short-circuited
Cell temperature too high
Frosted suction piping
REMEDY
Replacement of the expansion valve.
Repair leakage and add refrigerant
gas.
Replace the thermal switch.
Replace the system with a more
powerful one.
Lower the load and improve insulation if
possible.
Run a defrosting cycle.
Identify the heater and eliminate it.
Clean the condenser.
Replace the condenser with a correct
one.
Replace it with a correct relay.
Reassemble the relay in its correct
position.
Replace the condenser with a correct
one.
Adjust properly.
Replace the expansion valve with a
suitable one.
Replace, increasing the evaporator
surface.
Improve air circulation.
Adjust the valve or replace it with a
properly sized one.
Clean the valve of any foreign
substances or replace it if necessary.
Identify the cause and eliminate it.
Lower the load.
