Preparing the tool
Check function
To ensure the proper function of the tool, proceed as follows:
CAUTION
Observe the danger warnings in chapter "Safety" from page 7.
Press the tool nose of the tool against a piece of wood at least ten
centimetres thick.
Fire the tool (see chapter "Driving in fasteners" from page 36).
Check the following points:

Firing occurs only when the firing safety device is depressed.

Each time the tool is fired, a fastener must be driven into the
piece of wood.

The exhaust air must not be discharged towards your face.
In order to obtain the desired nailing depth, adjust the working
pressure or the setting of the adjusting wheel (see page 33), if
necessary.
Repeat these steps, if necessary.
The tool is now ready for operation.
