Spot intermittently time, expressed in seconds.
Range: OFF - 0.1 to 25.0. Default: OFF.
10.3 Evo Start function (ESt).
Available only in TIG-DC.
Inside the "Second Functions" menu with T7 or T8 select
"ESt" on D1; with M1 select the value to assign to the
function, visible on D2:
− OFF = off (default);
− Value = 0.1 ÷ 10.0 s.
Press simultaneously T7 and T8 to exit the "Second Func-
tions" menu, saving current settings.
When the ESt function is activated, the Power Source
starts welding using a synergic pulsed current for the time
assigned to the function, after which the Power Source
implements the welding current selected from the Control
Panel or by Robot Control.
The purpose of this function is to quickly create the weld
pool in welding of thin metal sheets or create a stable bath
with very low currents.
10.4 Evo Lift function (ELF).
Available only in TIG-DC with HF.
Inside the "Second Functions" menu with T7 or T8 select
"ELF" on D1; with M1 select the function status, visible
on D2:
− OFF = disabled (default);
− On
= enabled.
Press simultaneously T7 and T8 to exit the "Second Func-
tions" menu, saving current settings.
With the ELF function enabled (ELF On) the welding start
occurs by contact between the electrode and the workpiece;
when the short circuit is solved, a burst of high voltage /
frequency that ignites the arc is generated.
The purpose of this function is to produce cold and precise
spot welds on thin sheets.
10.5 ACMix function (ACM).
Available only in TIG-AC Continuous.
Inside the "Second Functions" menu with T7 or T8 select
"ACM" on D1; with M1 select the function status, visible
on D2:
− OFF = disabled (default);
− On
= enabled.
Press simultaneously T7 and T8 to exit the "Second Func-
tions" menu, saving current settings.
With the ACMix function enabled (ACM On) MIX weld-
ing is obtained, that is TIG-DC stretches alternating with
TIG-AC stretches. The purpose of this function is to ob-
tain a penetration greater than the traditional aluminium
alternating current welding.
With the ACMix function enabled (ACM On), other pa-
rameters become available, selectable with T7 and T8 and
adjustable with M1:
3300036-C
− ACd = (AC duty cycle) which is the ratio between the
AC part and the DC part of the period; duty cycle
of the AC part respect the whole MIX period.
Range: 10 - 80% of the period.
Default: 50%.
− AAd = adjustment of amplitude of the negative half
wave which regulates alternate current welding
cleaning.
Range: -80 ÷ +80 % of current amplitude.
Default: 0.
10.6 AAd function.
Available only in TIG-AC.
Adjustment of amplitude of the negative half wave which
regulates alternate current welding cleaning.
Range: -80 ÷ +80 % of current amplitude.
Default: 0
10.7 Robot function (rob).
Inside the "Second Functions" menu press T7 or T8 to
select "rob" on D1; with M1 select the function status,
visible on D2:
− OFF = disabled (default);
− On
= enabled.
Press simultaneously T7 and T8 to exit the "Second Func-
tions" menu, saving current settings.
With the Robot function disabled (rob OFF) the Control
Panel maintains full management of the welding system.
With the Robot function enabled (rob On), the system
operation passes to the Robot Control and the Control
Panel maintains partial operations, conditioned on the
selected "Operating Mode" (par. 6.1).
With the Robot function enabled (rob On), if the Robot
Interface or the CNC of the Robot Control are disconnected
or not powered, on Control Panel D1 and D2 read "rob int"
flashing (error 7, par. 12.3).
With the Robot function enabled (rob On) and the Robot
Interface connected and powered, the system is ready to
operate managed by Robot Control.
10.8 Front Panel Error function (FPE).
Available only with Robot function enabled (rob On).
Inside the "Second Functions" menu press T7 or T8 to
select "FPE" on D1; with M1 select the function status,
visible on D2:
− OFF = disabled;
− On
= enabled (default).
Press simultaneously T7 and T8 to exit the "Second Func-
tions" menu, saving current settings.
With the FPE function disabled (FPE OFF) is possible
to disconnect the Control Panel from the Power Source to
prevent eventual tampering or to schedule another Power
Source.
