With the FdU function enabled (FdU On) if the Wire
Feeder Unit is disconnected or not powered, on Control
Panel D1 and D2 read "FdU int" flashing (error 8, par.
12.3).
10.11 Synchronism high pulse delay function (PDY.
Indicates the delay or the advance of the motor start com-
pared to the current high level pulse.
Is expressed in hundredths of second.
Available only in "TIG-Pulsed" and with Robot function
enabled (rob On).
Inside the "Second Functions" menu using T7 or T8 select
"PdY" on D1; with M1 select the function value indicated
on D2.
Range: -99 ÷ +99 s/100. Default: 0 s.
10.12 USB function.
USB pen-drive management function.
Visible only with USB pen-drive plugged into the Power
Source BS connector.
Selection: rEM - UPd. Default: rEM.
− rEM (remove) allows the "safe removal" of the pen-
drive from the Power Source.
Inside the "Second Functions" menu using
T7 or T8 select "USb" on D1, with M1 select
"rEM" on D2, press T5 for a time longer than
3 s; D2 shows "- - -", now is possible to remove
the USB pen-drive from the Power Source BS
connector.
− UPd (update) allows to upgrade the firmware of the
Power Source and other equipments via USB
pen-drive (see Firmware Update, par. 12.2).
10.13 Factory setup function (FAc).
Sets the Power Source software setup to the original fac-
tory conditions.
Except for:
− clock setting;
− CAN bus settings.
Available with Robot function enabled (rob On) in Pa-
rameter Selection Internal mode and in TIG mode or
with Robot function disabled (rob OFF) and no working
program displayed on the Control Panel.
Inside the "Second Functions" menu press T7 or T8 to
select "FAc" on D1; with M1 select the function status,
visible on D2:
− noP = reset all except the Job;
− PrG = reset only Job;
− ALL = reset all.
Press T5 for a time longer than 3 s to perform the restore.
The abbreviation on D2 flashing for 1 s and an acoustic
signal (beep) indicate the restoration took place.

10.14 Technical Menu.
Inside the "Second Functions" menu is available the
"Technical Menu", which allows the setting of special
welding parameters and particular features.
To enter the "Technical Menu" press simultaneously T7
and T1.
The choice of the menu voices is realized by briefly press-
ing T7 (for one way) and T8 (for the opposite way).
The menu parameters values are adjustable with M1.
Exit the "Technical Menu", with current settings saving,
occurs with the simultaneous pressing of T1 and T7.
10.14.1 IH1 parameter.
Available in TIG with HF arc firing.
Indicates the amplitude of the Hot-Start first current, ex-
pressed in Amperes.
Range: 0 ÷ 300. Default: 120.
10.14.2 tH1 parameter.
Available in TIG with HF arc firing.
Indicates the duration of the Hot-Start first current, ex-
pressed in ms.
Range: 1.0 ÷ 10.0. Default: 7.0.
10.14.3 IH2 parameter.
Available in TIG with HF arc firing.
Indicates the amplitude of the Hot-Start second current,
expressed in Amperes.
Range: 10 ÷ 100. Default: 40.
10.14.4 tH2 parameter.
Available in TIG with HF arc firing.
Indicates the duration of the Hot-Start second current, ex-
pressed in ms.
Range: 0 ÷ 250. Default: 7.0.
10.14.5 SLO parameter.
Indicates the slope of the connection between the Hot-Start
current and the first welding current, expressed in A/ms.
Range: 1 ÷ 100. Default: 2.
10.14.6 IL1 parameter.
Available in TIG with contact arc firing (lift).
Indicates the amplitude of the Hot-Start current, expressed
in Amperes.
Range: 5 ÷ 100. Default: 25.
10.14.7 tL1 parameter.
Available in TIG with contact arc firing (lift).
Indicates the duration of the Hot-Start current, expressed
in ms. Range: 0 ÷ 200. Default: 150.
10.14.8 t1 parameter.
Indicates the duration of the main current, expressed in s.
Range: OFF - 0.1 ÷ 30.0. Default: OFF.
