ADVANCED SETTINGS.

11.1 Overview.

The Power Sources are preset from the factory to be
inserted into plants with a lay-out similar to that of fig. 2.
This system configuration covers the majority of
applications, but not all, for this reason the following
guidance is given on how to set up Power Sources to
operate in specific system configurations, different from
that of fig. 2.
NOTE
Is left to the installer assessment and responsibility about
the need to change the factory setting.
If in doubt, contact the Cebora Technical Service.
11.2 CAN-1 and CAN-2 CAN bus lines setup.
The CAN-1 and CAN-2 lines must be configured according
to the plant layout.
During installation, it is advisable to check:
− CAN bus lines power supply;
− line terminating resistors insertion;
− Technical menu "CAn Function" parameters setting
(par. 10.14.16).
NOTE
The line terminating resistors should be inserted only in
equipment placed at the beginning and the end of the CAN
bus line.
In the example of fig. 2:
− for the CAN-1 line, in the Control Panel (24) and in the
Wire Feeder Unit (8). The Power Source (21) is located
in the middle of the line and therefore must have the
line terminating resistors not inserted;
− for the CAN-2 line, in the Power Source (21) and in the
Robot Interface (25), if present, or in the Robot Con-
trol.
