4. IMPORTANT VERIFICATIONS PRIOR TO COMMISSIONING
4.1. Aeraulic network
Check that all exhaust ducts and grilles are correctly connected. Flexible ducts must be taut and not crushed.
4.2. Hydraulic circuit
The installation cannot be commissioned until it is filled.
4.3. Electrical circuit
The equipment must be connected by a professional electrician as per standard NF C 15-100.
The verifications should be made when the general circuit breaker is in the stopped position:
• Check the power supply voltage, especially the correct position of the neutral,
• The unit must be earthed,
• Check that the colours of the connection wires match.
5. COMMISSIONING
5.1. Filling the tank
• Open the hot water taps.
• Open the cold water supply tap on the safety unit. Make sure that the drain valve is closed in advance.
• Close the taps as soon as the water flows to them. The water heater is full.
• Check that the ductwork and connectors are watertight.
• Check that the safety unit is working properly. Move in to the drain position and then closed position to remove any residues
in the discharge safety valve.
5.2. Verifying correct operation
• Power on the heater,
• The temperature setpoint is displayed.
• Select AUTO or BOOST mode (see paragraph 6 "Use").
• The product starts after a few minutes (a slight noise can be heard for a few moments when the heat pump starts running.
This noise is perfectly normal).
During operation, water must flow through the clear pipe (discharge of heat pump condensates). This is perfectly normal (heat
pump operation). Similarly, it is normal to see water flowing in the safety unit as the tank heats up (water expansion caused
by the heating). Remember to check that the hydraulic connections are watertight (hot water, cold water and condensate
discharge connections).
