WASH CYCLE
The WASH CYCLE function enables cleaning ope-
rations to be performed on the coffee dispensing
groups. To run this function, proceed as follows:
Press the continuous cycle key E, then press the "first
dose" key A relative to the group that the wash cycle
needs to be performed on (please beware that key
A needs to be pressed in within 3 seconds after key
E has been pressed, otherwise the machine will go
into the coffee and tea dose programming mode, if
said function has been activated).
Whilst it is being run, the washing cycle underway
is signalled visually by the synchronous flashing of
the two LEDs belonging to the two keys pressed in,
in sequence (E and A). The LEDs will keep flashing
for the whole duration of the wash cycle.
The wash cycle is run with six repetitive cycles
that entail the activation of the electro valve EVx
(where x is either 1 or 2, depending on the group
involved with the wash cycle) and of the PUMP for
7 seconds, followed by a standby for pause phase
lasting 13 seconds, during which EVx and PUMP
are deactivated.
- It is also possible to activate the wash cycle simul-
taneously on both machine groups.
- When one group is running a wash cycle, it is
possible to keep dispensing coffee from all the
remaining groups.
- Should it be necessary to interrupt the wash cycle
before it automatically comes to an end (i.e. during
the automatic repetition of the six cycles), simply
press on one of the coffee dispensing keys relative
to the group running the wash cycle.
- Should there be a power mains failure (POWER-
FAIL) whilst a wash cycle is being run, then the
whole cycle is aborted.
Once the wash cycle has come to an end, the sy-
stem will automatically go into the "ready for use"
mode. Naturally, it is possible to run the wash cycle
as many times as required throughout the whole
working day.

9.1.2 For PLUS - PLUS+TS models
Dose programming : for calibration distribution of
coffee doses and of hot water, refer to the operations
described previously for ME models (9.1. 1).
Steam temperature programming (Mod. PLUS+TS)
– temperature programming of the steam spout with
probe takes place by simulation: the desired tempe-
rature is set in the programming phase, utilising an
external temperature probe and once this is set the
liquid will be heated until the programmed tempera-
ture is reached.
For programming, proceed as follows:
● Immerse the steam spout with probe in the liquid to
be heated. Insert a temperature probe with visual
display in the liquid.
● Enter dose programming keeping key E pressed
(Fig. 7) on the pushbutton panel of the first unit on
the left for 5 seconds. E LEDs flashing indicates
programming activation.
● Press the key in question within 5 seconds (key 6
fig. 7 of the keypad technical level settings) to acti-
vate the steam dispenser nozzle with temperature
probe. The steam will heat up the liquid by con-
duction and the relative temperature is displayed
by the immersed probe via a visual readout.
● On reaching the required temperature, press the
same key again (key 6 Fig.7). At this point the
temperature has been set.
Time programming
Auto ON/OFF (automatically switches on/off): Keep
key E (fig. 7) situated on the first unit on the left
pressed for 5 seconds. Run along the menu by pres-
sing key E until the desired hour and day setting has
been reached: to enter the submenu, press key C
(fig. 7). To either increase or decrease the numbers
that make up the time setting, act on keys A and B
(fig. 7). To confirm, press on key E.
The same keys will set the day of the week and the
calendar date (day/month/year).
When the time has been set, press E to proceed
to setting the machine's automatic ON/OFF times
and weekly OFF day. One daily ON time and one
daily OFF time which will be valid for every day of
the week.
