7.5 Internal tank filter
In cases of water hardness exceeding 5°f, the use of a
BRITA model filter is advisable (supplied with machine) to
be installed in the tank. Not only does this filter reduce lime
scale build-up, but it also eliminates any impurities and other
substances such as chlorine in the water. Install the filter
at the bottom of the tank according to the manufacturer's
instructions.
Replace the tank filter according to the manufacturer's
instructions.

Cause
Hydraulic system fault.
• The filter holder is dirty.
• The filter holes are worn.
• The coffee has not been ground evenly.
• The coffee has been ground too coarsely.
• The filter's edge is damaged.
• Internal tank is empty.
• The tank is missing.
Intervention of Time-out: you have exceeded the
time required for loading the boiler water.
Action
Turn off the machine and call out the Technician.
• Clean the filter holder.
• Replace the filter.
• Adjust the grind as appropriate.
• Adjust the coffee grind.
• Replace the filter.
• Fill the tank with water.
• Replace the water tank in its housing.
Check for the presence of water in the tank, turn off
and restarting the machine.

7.6 Cleaning operations

7.6.1

General instructions

A few simple cleaning tasks are required to have a perfectly
sanitised and efficient appliance. The instructions provided
here apply when the machine is being used on a regular
basis. If the machine is constantly being used, then cleaning
should be performed more frequently.
Do not use alkaline cleaners, solvents, alcohol or
aggressive
substance-based
phosphoric, citric or sulfamic acids). The products/
cleaners used must be suitable for this purpose and not
corrode the water circuit elements.
Do not use abrasive cleaners which may scratch the body's
surface.
Always use clean and sanitised cloths when cleaning.
When washing the filters, filter holders and all machine
components, use Manufacturer-supplied cleaners or
products specific for cleaning professional coffee machines.
