SAFETY DEVICES
MOTORSTOP
The working position of the Motorstop con-
trol lever 1, which stops the engine, is shown
in Fig. 6. If, for any reason, the handlebars
are released from the operator's hands, le-
ver 1 will automatically adopt the position
shown in Fig. 7 and thus stop the engine.
CLUTCH HOOK
The inserted clutch hook C (Fig. 8) prevents
any power transmission with gears enga-
ged.
POWER TAKE-OFF
HINDRANCE DEVICE
This very important device avoids the simul-
taneous engagement of P.T.O. and rever-
se gear, when the Motorcultivator has the
handlebars in tilling position. Therefore, to
use the reverse gear, it is first necessary to
disengage the P.T.O. When the handlebars
are in front implements position (rotated
through 180°), the device will be automati-
cally excluded and thus allowing the enga-
gement of the reverse gear and P.T.O. at the
same time.
REVERSING GEAR ENGAGEMENT
HINDRANCE DEVICE
A device, connected to the control lever,
prevents the engagement of the Reversing
Gear when handlebars are in normal posi-
tion (tilling). This device will automatically
be excluded when handlebars are rotated
in front implements position. If Operator for-
gets to disengage the Reversing Gear befo-
re first having brought the handlebars into
normal position (tilling), the device will auto-
matically disengage the Reversing Gear.
FAST GEARS HINDRANCE DEVICE
When handlebars are in front implements
position, the fast gears hindrance device will
be activated automatically.
