Procedure:
Prepare the waffle batter (

see page 30).
Insert the waffle plates (14) into the
‹
appliance as described in the section
Changing the function plates (page
26).
Oil the function plates before using –
‹
not for each waffle. Saturate a kitchen
roll with vegetable oil and wipe it over
the function plates.
Fold the lid (6) downwards.

Insert the plug into the mains socket.

The red power indicator (2) and the
green temperature indicator (3) light
up and the appliance starts heating.
This can take a few minutes.
Fold the lid (6) up.
‹
Fill the middle of the left and right
‹
halves of the lower function plate with
the waffle mixture.
Fold the lid down without locking it.
‹
During baking, lift up the lid briefly to
‹
inspect the waffle. Allow it to bake to a
golden brown colour.
Grilling
Instructions on preparing:
■ In addition to salt, pepper and ground
paprika, you can also season your
grilled food with the following spices:

■ The grilled food is particularly tender
and succulent when the meat is mari-
nated first. You will find two examples
