5.7 HANDLE ASSEMBLY (FIG. 5C)
1. Place the handle (Fig. 5C.A) into the lower clamp (Fig. 5C.B1).
2. Correctly position the upper clamp (Fig. 5C.B2) and screw down but do not tighten the 4 screws
(Fig. 5C.D).
3. Align the handle at right angles to the transmission pipe.
4. Firmly tighten the screws (Fig. 5C.D).
WARNING
Make sure all machine components are securely connected and the screws are tightened.
NOTE
Strictly observe local regulations for the disposal of packaging
6 SAFETY AND CONTROL DEVICES
SAFETY DEVICES
The machine is equipped with the following safety devices:
6.1 STOP BUTTON
The switch (Fig. 1.16) stops the machine when pressed.
6.2 ACCELERATOR STOP LEVER
The accelerator stop lever (Fig. 1.15) prevents unintentional operation of the accelerator lever
(Fig. 1.17).
6.3 SAFETY GUARD (FIG. 1.5)
Protects the operator from any projected objects.
CONTROLS
The machine is equipped with the following controls:
6.4 ACCELERATOR LEVER
Allows the cutting device speed to be adjusted.
Actuation of the accelerator lever (Fig. 1.17) is possible only if the accelerator stop lever is pressed at
the same time (Fig. 1.15).
The correct working speed is obtained with the accelerator lever (Fig. 1.17) at the end of the stroke.
6.5 SEMI-ACCELERATION BUTTON
It is used for engine start-up when cold (Fig. 1.21).
